Jordi GDL, second-gen Duremdes and Laure comprise core of Gilas Youth U16

Jordi GDL and Ian Espinosa will provide much-needed experience second-generation promising prospects Kenji Duremdes and Echo Laure are stll lacking
Second-generation talent as well as promising youngsters who already have experience in the NCAA and UAAP Juniors banner the pool for Gilas Pilipinas Youth Under-16.
Nazareth School of National University's Kenji Duremdes and Echo Laure - sons of ex-pros Kenneth and Eddie, respectively - will make their debuts for the Philippine national youth team.
They will be joined by Jordi Gomez de Liano who started shining for the University of the Philippines Integrated School as well as Ian Espinosa who broke out for Ateneo de Manila High School last season.
Also there is big man Lebron Lopez, formerly of La Salle Green Hills and now of Ateneo, as well as Greenies forward Jesse Arciaga and now-Blue Eaglet Mason Amos who was recruited from NBTC participant Camp David-New Zealand.
Rounding out the 22-man pool are LSGH's Ethan Rod Alian, Seven Gagate, Jan Clement Macalalag, Manuel Antonio Luis Pablo, Ateneo's Justin Josiah Simon Diaz, NU's Reinhard Jumanoy, Poul Justin Palacielo, Kim Tamayo, UPIS's Sean Torculas;
Colegio de San Juan de Letran's John Rey Guevarra; Xavier High School's Keith Anthony Wongchuking; Far Eastern University-Diliman's Luis Buenaventura and Mark Kenshin Padrones; and San Beda High School's Prince Alao and Nicael Dominie Cabanero.
Gilas Youth U16 is already gearing up for the 2019 FIBA Asia U16 Basketball Championship in July.
