Two-time NBA champion Lamar Odom says he still wants to play professional basketball, name-dropping the Philippines as a possible option.
Odom, who was 'deactivated' by the Big3 league after scoring just two points in his debut, told TMZ Live that he believes the incident was just "another setback," saying, "I'mma play professional basketball again. Maybe in the Philippines or something like that....When one thing gets taken from you, another beautiful thing pops up."
Odom earlier this year had a stint with Mighty Sports-Pilipinas in the 2019 Dubai International Basketball Tournament. The team placed third, losing just once in the tournament, during the semifinals.
The former NBA Sixth Man of the Year has career averages of 13.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists.
The TMZ report added that Odom is also currently taking up motivational speaking.
