An American male basketball player was suspended by FIBA after his drug test revealed that he was...pregnant.

DJ Cooper, 28, was given a two-year ban the global basketball governing body after providing another person's urine sample for a doping test.

The former Ohio State University standout who has spent his basketball career playing in Europe, needed to undergo a doping test before he could potentially suit up for the Bosnian Men's National Basketball Team as a naturalized player.

Unfortunately for Cooper, the urine sample came back showing that he was 'pregnant'.

As Eurohoops.net explained, the urine sample had the hormone "gHC", which is produced by placenta after impregnation.

Yahoo Sports added that according to a report, the urine belonged to Cooper's girlfriend.

The two-year suspension will keep Cooper off the court until June of 2020.
