TERRIFIC 12: Total of 11 national team players to suit up in Macau post-World Cup

The 2019 FIBA World Cup in China will be the center of the basketball world for two weeks as the planet's very best national teams duke it out for the Naismith trophy.
But a week after we see the crowning of a world champion, East Asia will likewise see the crowning of a top club team.
Twelve of the top club teams from China, Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines will collide in the 2019 East Asia Super League Terrific 12 tournament in Macau.
And much like the World Cup, the Terrific 12 will be filled with national team players, 11 of them actually.
Active national team players set to see action in the Terrific 12 are China's Guo Ailun (Liaoning Flying Leopards), Sun Minghui (Zhejiang Guangsha Lions), and Zhao Jiwei (Liaoning Flying Leopards).
For Japan, it will be Kosuke Takeuchi (Utsunomiya Brex) and Makoto Hiejima (Utsunomiya Brex). The South Korean national team will be represented in Macau by Choi Jun-yong (Seoul SK Knights), Kim Sun-hyung (Seoul SK Knights), and Lee Jung-hyun (Jeonju KCC Egis).
For the PBA and Gilas Pilipinas, June Mar Fajardo (San Miguel Beermen), Roger Pogoy (TNT KaTropa), and Troy Rosario (TNT KaTropa) are all set to suit up in Macau.
The Terrific 12 is the FIBA recognized premier preseason event of the summer. hosted at Macau’s Tap Seac Multi-Sport Pavilion this 17-22 September, 2019.
San Miguel Beer has defending champion Ryukyu Golden Kings in its bracket while Blackwater also has a top Japanese team in its group in the Chiba Jets. The TNT KaTropa are in an uber-competitive group as they'll take on the Liaoning Flying Leopards in preliminary play.
