MACAU — If Blackwater is to have a productive stint in The Terrific 12 tournament here, they’ll have to fix some things.

The Elite fell flat Tuesday at the hans of the Seoul SK Knights, taking a 93-77 beating at the Tap Seac Multi-sport Pavillion.

“We closed out the first half the way we wanted but the consistency is not there,” head coach Aris Dimaunahan said.

“There are some instances that we are getting some stops but again, we never took care of the ball and it hurt us. We have to do something for tomorrow’s game and play better if we want to be contend in this tournament,” he added.

Blackwater erased a 17-point deficit in the second quarter and tied things up early in the third.

However, the Elite never had answers again after the SK Knights dropped a couple of big runs to take control. It didn’t help that Blackwater missed two starters in Ray Parks (Achilles) and Mike Digregorio (Flu).

“It really hurt us because I think we lost almost 30 points between the two of them,” Dimaunahan said.

“But I always trust our team to be resilient, bouncing back from every loss we have,” he added.
