Two-time champion Jerick Canada and one-time champions Ray Parks Jr. and Leo Avenido have been recognized as three of the Top 10 Players of All-Time in the Asean Basketball League.
The league's best-ever individual performers in history were feted in the press conference before its newest and latest Season 10, Thursday at Conrad Manila.
Thirty percent of that elite list is made up of Filipinos in the form of flashy playmaker Canada, do-it-all lefty Parks Jr., and heady swingman Avenido.
Parks Jr. is the youngest among the honorees, already having won a title and a Finals MVP award as well as three Local MVP trophies for San Miguel Alab Pilipinas at just 26-years-old.
Avenido, meanwhile, also made it into the elite list just a year after being recognized with the ABL's first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award. He won a championship with the San Miguel Beermen as well as a Local MVP plum.
Interestingly, Canada is the only one among the three who entered the honor roll by virtue of playing for teams outside the Philippines. He helped Hi-Tech Bangkok and Indonesia to a championship apiece and was named Finals MVP in 2014.
Rounding out the Top 10 are Locals Attaporn Lertmalaiporn from Thailand, Wong Wei Long from Singapore and Indonesia, and Mario Wuysang from Indonesia as well as reinforcements Steven Thomas, Chris Charles, Marcus Elliott, and Xavier Alexander.
