San Miguel Alab Pilipinas just could not get anything going, Sunday, and succumbed to home team Singapore, 64-85, at the OCBC Arena.
Sam Deguara was the lone player in double-digits for the Filipino representatives with 14 points and nine rebounds.
None of Nick King, Khalif Wyatt, and Jason Brickman went online, however, as the Philippines dropped down to third-place at 5-3.
The 19-point loss is just the second double-digit defeat for Alab, but just the first that came at the hands of a team not in the top half of the standings.
Prior to the win that raised its record to 2-4, Singapore was the league's cellar-dweller.
