Mighty Sports-Pilipinas will finally get to wield all of its weapons when the 2020 Dubai International Basketball Tournament tips off on January 23.
The Filipinos' first assignment in the invitational tourney will be the national team of the United Arab Emirates on Thursday, 11:00 p.m. (Philippine time).
There, the Philippines will unleash Andray Blatche and Renaldo Balkman together with a youthful core comprised by Isaac Go, Dave Ildefonso, Jamie Malonzo, Thirdy Ravena, Kai Sotto, and Gomez de Liano brothers Javi and Juan.
Mighty-Pilipinas and UAE are both part of Group B which also includes Syria's Al Itihad, Tunisia's Rades, and Lebanon's Beirut Club.
After UAE, the Filipinos take on Al Atihad on Saturday, 11:00 p.m. (Philippine time); Rades on Tuesday, 1:00 a.m. (Philippine time); and Beirut Club on Wednesday, 1:00 a.m. (Philippine time).
The Philippine team is hoping that its fully loaded lineup will be more than enough to improve on its third-place finish from a year ago.
