The UConn Huskies women's basketball team paid tribute to the late Gianna "Gigi" Bryant Monday with a special jersey ahead of their exhibition game against Team USA.

Gigi died along with her father Kobe and seven others in a helicopter crash in California Sunday. She was 13 years old.

Like her father before her, Gigi was starting out what looked like a promising basketball career. Her youth team was being coached by Kobe himself.

Mambacita told her father she was set at playing for the Huskies by the time she entered college and the two frequented UConn women's games.

Gigi will never get to do that now but UConn women made sure she will be a Husky forever with the touching tribute.
