San Miguel Alab Pilipinas is on the up and up anew in the 2019-2020 Asean Basketball League after defending home court versus visiting Saigon, 82-75, Sunday at Sta. Rosa Multi-Purpose Complex in Laguna.

Nick King waxed hot for 26 points on top of 12 rebounds, five assists, and four steals while Sam Deguara and Miah Gray wound up with 15 and 13 markers, respectively, in the Filipinos' mighty rebound back into the win column.

Setting it all up was Jason Brickman who only contributed five points, but also collected 14 assists and six rebounds.

The Philippines scored no less than 21 points in the first three quarters and enjoyed a lead as big as 23.

They would never trail and would never be threatened en route to a share of second in the standings.
