San Miguel Alab Pilipinas will enter the stretch run of the 2019-2020 Asean Basketball League by adding a big-time weapon to its arsenal.
The Filipino representatives in the regional league will be welcoming back with open arms Justin Brownlee, team owner Charlie Dy confirmed on Sunday.
Brownlee will take the place of struggling Prince Williams and take the lead alongside 7-foot-5 Sam Deguara and scoring machine Nick King as the Philippines tries to improve on its 9-5 record.
Two seasons ago, the American wing joined forces with Renaldo Balkman and Ray Parks Jr. in Alab's breakthrough championship.
Now, he is expected to bring back his per game counts from that title run of 21.8 points, 10.2 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.6 blocks.
According to Dy, Brownlee will be in the country on Monday and will debut against the Kuala Lumpur Dragons on Wednesday.
