Still Brownlee-less Alab turns down Heat for bounce back win in ABL 10

STA. ROSA, LAGUNA - Still missing its third reinforcement, San Miguel Alab Pilipinas leaned on total team effort to get back on track in the 2019-2020 Asean Basketball League.
Lo Domingo led four Filipinos in double-digits as they proved they can take Saigon’s Heat, 99-79, Sunday at Sta. Rosa Multi-Purpose Complex here.
After a close first five minutes, Domingo energized the Philippines into taking control of the contest.
And behind a 31-point second quarter, they would cruise to a much-needed mighty rebound that raises their record to 10-6.
In the end, Doningo had 18 points, six rebounds, two blocks, two steals, and two assists to his name.
The team captain was flanked by Sam Deguara and Nick King, still Alab’s only two reinforcements, with the former finishing with 23 points and eight rebounds and the latter ending with 20 markers and 15 boards of his own.
The team’s third World Import, Justin Brownlee, missed his second straight game due to still undisclosed reasons.
