“This our way of extending our help to the community." - Kiefer Ravena
Kiefer Ravena availed of the Chooks-to-Go rolling store in bringing fresh chicken closer to families at home.
Joining Kiefer was brother Thirdy Ravena, girlfriend Alyssa Valdez, and friend Adrian Wong who spent the whole day serving chicken in Cainta, Rizal on Saturday.
The rolling store was set up at the garage of Ravena's home.
“This our way of extending our help to the community,” said the Gilas Pilipinas skipper.
“Nakita kasi namin na marami ang nahihirapan pumila sa groceries lalo na ‘yung matatanda. Kaya naisip namin na kami na lang magdadala ng manok sa kanila.”
Having a rolling store saves the residence of either a barangay or a village from the hassle of lining up at groceries or stores to avail of either a dressed or a roasted chicken.
Seeing this, Ravena also encouraged community leaders to do the same.
“Please check Chooks-to-Go’s Facebook page and simply message them kung ilan ang kailangan na chicken and they will happily serve your barangay,” added Kiefer.
Meanwhile, Chooks-to-Go president Ronald Mascariñas expressed his admiration not only for Kiefer bust also for the hardworking staff behind the success of Chooks-to-Go rolling stores.
Currently, the Chooks-to-Go rolling stores are in 150 areas as of Saturday, April 4.
“Salamat Kiefer, Thirdy, Alyssa, and Adrian sa inyong serbisyo sa inyong village,” said the amiable executive.
“I am really proud of everyone for stepping up in these difficult times."
In the coming days, the Chooks-to-Go rolling stores will continue to roam the country to reach more families and bring smiles to more faces.
“To families at home, we will continue to bring you your favorite chicken. Kami ang bahala sa inyo," added Mascariñas.
