Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday night ahead of the premier of his movie documentary "Manny". Pacquiao was joined by his wife Jinkee.
It was reported earlier in the week that promoter Bob Arum said that Pacquiao has agreed to terms for a May 2 bout with Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas, but when asked about the fight, the Sarangani congressman offered little detail.
"We will announce that. We will wait. We will wait to announce the announcement at the right time," said Pacquiao.
Mayweather for his part has not announced any approval of a deal and the Mayweather camp has yet to confirm whether Arum's statement is indeed accurate.
While in the US, Pacquiao is expected to speak to Arum about the fight.
After promoting the documentary in the US, Pacquiao will then fly to England to meet with Prince Harry and will return back to the US to judge the Miss Universe pageant in Miami, Florida and attend the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington D.C. on Feb 4.
During the National Prayer Breakfast, Pacquiao will be sitting with Heads of State along with U.S. President Barack Obama.
