Not one and done.
Hours after their first face-to-face meeting wherein they exchanged numbers at halftime of the NBA game between the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks, Manny Pacquiao and Flloyd Mayweather Jr. met privately again for more than an hour to continue discussing details for their proposed mega-bout.
In an interview on DZMM on Wednesday afternoon, Pacquiao's friend Bernard Cloma confirmed that Mayweather visited the Filipino boxer in his hotel room after their accidental meeting during the NBA game.
"Pumunta si Mayweather dito sa hotel ni Manny (Mayweather went to the hotel room of Manny)," revealed Cloma, who was outside the living room of Pacquiao's hotel suite during the private meeting.
Cloma added that Pacquiao was with his wife Jinkee and her twin sister Janet Jamora, adviser Michael Koncz, Mayweather and his unnamed friend during the meeting.
In an interview with ESPN.com's Dan Rafael, Koncz said that the meeting was "very pleasant and encouraging" and added that it was a business meeting, but one that wasn't tense.
The two sides have been negotiating on a proposed May 2 fight, which is expected to be the richest bout in boxing history; although no deal has been struck yet despites reports that Pacquiao has agreed to Mayweather's terms.
