MANILA - Ronda Rousey may be catching the "Fight of the Century" live as it happens.
The reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion (11-0, all victories by stoppage) pulled off another record-setting performance at UFC 184 on Saturday night, when she finished Cat Zingano within 14 seconds via her signature submission move, the armbar.
In a conversation with ABS-CBN News correspondent Steve Angeles last week, Rousey expressed her intent to see the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao mega bout on May 2nd. But in order to do so, she needed to emerge victorious against Zingano.
Now that she has fulfilled her task at hand, "Rowdy" has her sights sets for May 2nd in Las Vegas.
"I probably will. I definitely wanna go. I'm going to that fight for sure," said Rousey, who also openly declared her support for Manny Pacquiao.
In another report by TMZ Sports, Top Rank chief Bob Arum says he is willing to give out free tickets for Rousey, despite his previous statement that nobody will be getting free passes.
"She can just call me, and I'll be happy to get her a ticket. I really admire her, she's a warrior."
