MANILA - Manny Pacquiao is looking to capitalize on one particular Floyd Mayweather move.
This, according to long-time training and close confidante Buboy Fernandez, who chose not to disclose any specifics.
"Mayroon kasing isang galaw si floyd na alam namin so tinuro namin kay manny kung paano ilagan. Nakuha ni manny pero kailangan ulit ultin pa (We know about one move of Floyd which we did teach Manny the counters for. He got it, but he still needs to work on it more)," Fernandez told ABS-CBN News correspondent Dyan Castillejo.
Team Pacquiao is already on Day 15 of training camp, and according to the Filipino boxing supersar himself, things have gone smoothly so far.
"Maganda ngayon. Trabaho talaga, tiis (Today's been great. Put in a lot of work and sacrifice)," Pacquiao simply said.
After a run through Griffith Park in Los Angeles, Pacquiao headed to the Wild Card Gym in West Hollywood for his drills with Freddie Roach. During the session, fellow fighters former flyweight champion Chatchai Sasakul whom Manny knocked out in 1998, and reigning IBO and WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin dropped by for a quick visit.
"I think Manny is too fast," said Triple G.
