MANILA - Manny Pacquiao was finally granted the renewal of his boxing license by the Nevada Athletic Commission.
In a report by Dyan Castillejo of ABS-CBN News, the Filipino boxing superstar also underwent his third drug test conducted by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).
According to trainer Freddie Roach, the drug testing procedure, particularly the blood test, used to be a mental hurdle for Pacquiao, but is no longer a problem. Pacquiao himself says he has no issue with the testing procedures at all.
"It's no problem, it use to bother manny mentally he's gotten over it," said Roach. "It doesn't bother him that much anymore to give blood."
Pacquiao is currently on his third week in training in preparation for the May 2nd mega bout against Floyd Mayweather.
