MANILA - As week five of training camp ensues, Team Pacquiao has imposed a new rule for fans.

"No more selfies with the champ."

In a report by ABS-CBN Los Angeles correspondent Steve Angeles, this new stipulation is mainly to keep Manny from contracting any possible illness. In 2014, Pacquiao had reportedly missed two training days after catching a cold, and given that May 2nd will be the biggest fight of his career, his coaching staff and entourage are not taking any chances.

"It's common with manny though because he has so many people that go to his house want to bother him," trainer Freddie Roach said in a 2014 interview. "I don't know why these people feel like they need to see manny or get him sick."

As fight day slowly draws near, Pacquiao's training regimen begins to lighten up, as well. According to publicist Fred Sternburg, Roach and his team of trainers are avoiding any form of physical exhaustion on Manny's end.

"He wants to make sure he doesn't get overtired. Doesn't want him to peak too soon. I think they are shocked at how far ahead he is in terms of conditioning and I think it's a concern now that he overtrains."
