Diddy and Wahlberg talk about their bets, as the former picked Mayweather, while the latter picked Pacquiao.
Many celebrity personalities have already made their picks for the upcoming "Fight of the Century" between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. Actors, musicians, and fellow prizefighters have been frequenting the respective training camps of Pacquiao in Los Angeles and Mayweather in Las Vegas.
Most recently, veteran actor Mark Wahlberg and rapper P. Diddy were put on the spot, as the two jokingly placed their bets on the upcoming bout. Wahlberg, of course, is for Team Pacquiao, while Diddy was for the Money Team. The pot: a whopping $250,000.
Here is the short clip showing both men agreeing to the bet.
Meanwhile, former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz also shelled out some cash for the much-coveted tickets for the May 2nd bout. In his Instagram post, "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" publicly declared his ticket purchase amounting to a grand total of $250,410.50.
"#maypac #TMT lets go #GOAT Floyd! (COME ON PPL!!!!!! You have too be one dumb MF to buy these tickets!!!!) nice to see the haters and how fast it got picked up. Never in a million years!" Ortiz wrote.
Ironically, his fellow UFC star Ronda Rousey is said to be getting tickets for free, after Top Rank chief Bob Arum himself made the promise.
