MANILA - Manny Pacquiao’s previous claims of “leaked information” to the Mayweather camp may not be that far-fetched.
In an exclusive tell-all interview with FightHype.com, Mayweather Jr. made bold claims of knowing everything that transpired during Pacquiao’s camp, from his training regimen, to the sparring partners that came and went through the doors of the Wild Card Gym.
“Everything that Manny Pacquiao did in his camp everyday, I knew,” the undefeated fighter said twice during the interview. “I knew when he boxed, I knew when he didn’t box. I knew how many rounds he boxed, I knew how he was looking, I knew how many rounds he did on the heavy bag. I knew when his legs were cramping, I knew everything.”
“I knew about the MMA guy he was boxing, I knew about the other guy he made go home, I knew everything.”
Now, Mayweather Jr. has not shown this much candor in his usual interviews, but it is and it always has been different when it comes to FightHype.com. The reigning pound-for-pound king has always been vocal about his “special relationship” with the said media outlet.
But in the same manner, “Money May” is not exactly the “what you see is what you get” type of person. He did plead guilty to a domestic abuse case in 2012 that he served two months in jail for, then denied everything point-blank in a recent Katie Couric interview.
That being said, only Floyd knows if this recent claims hold true or otherwise.
Watch the entire interview here, where also talks about his intent to come to the Philippines one day to “help the Filipino people out.”
