MANILA - Dave Chappelle recently shared his thoughts on the Mayweather-Pacquiao mega bout, which left almost the entire world greatly dismayed.

TMZ caught up with the 41-year old comedian, who then offered a relatively unique take on the fight.

“A lot of people that won’t normally watch boxing watched it, and they didn’t understand that it was a pretty good fight. I think it’s impossible to live up to the hype of a fight that large.”

Chappelle also spoke about the $5 million lawsuit Manny Pacquiao is currently facing, for allegedly deceiving the public about the shoulder injury he failed to disclose.

“I don’t know that it’s a boxer job to make disclosures so that people can gamble more accurately,” he added. “If there was some kind of boxing commission violation, that’s a different issue. But as far as a class action lawsuit from a ticket buyer? I don’t it has legs.”

Watch the entire interview here, where Chappelle again went for a contrarian point-of-view and said he will pay to see a possible rematch between the two.
