Post-fight numbers: Pacquiao - Mayweather
What the Floyd Mayweather - Manny Pacquiao fight lacked in action, it made up for big revenue - a lot of it.

What the Floyd Mayweather - Manny Pacquiao fight lacked in action, it made up for big revenue - a lot of it.

While it was expected to be a big payday for both fighters from the onset, the numbers exceeded the high expectations from executives and promoters from both sides, with Mayweather expected to breach the 200 million mark while Pacquiao going a little over 120 million when the smoke clears.

Curious about the numbers? Here are the earnings and figures of the fight, by the numbers:

4.4 million - The total number of PPV buys, a new record. Ultimately shattered the previous record of the Mayweather - Dela Hoya fight. This cord is expected to stay for a long time.

440 million dollars - The total earnings of the PPV buys

72 million dollars - The total gate earnings, tripling the previous record of 20 million in the Mayweather - Canelo Alvarez bout.

40 million dollars - Earnings for international TV rights from over 175 countries.

13.2 million dollars - The total earnings from sponsorships in the fight.

19 million dollars -  National closed circuit revenue earnings.

The gate breakdown

9 - Contrary to popular belief, tickets weren't sold out. There are nine tickets left unsold in the bout.

12.26 million dollars - 1,226 tickets sold from the 10,000 price range

11.955 million dollars - from 1,594 tickets sold in the 7,500 price range

24.67 million dollars - from 4,934 tickets sold in the 5,000 price range

6.3 million dollars - from 2,534 tickets sold in the 2,500 price range

2.8 million dollars - from 1,880 tickets in the 1,500 price range

From the looks of it, from a monetary standpoint alone - a rematch shouldn't totally be out of the question.
