Now that Mayweather vs. Pacquiao is in the books, Floyd Mayweather has officially taken the throne of being the “Greatest Boxer of this Era.”
Of course, the younger crop of superstars have continued to evolve and make a name for themselves. These days, when it comes to the ability to stop opponents, Gennady Golovkin’s name is one of the top names on the list.
With Mayweather able to conquer the supposedly “toughest test” of his career in the form of Manny Pacquiao, fans and critics alike are now pairing up these two fighters to face each other some time in the future.
Many deem it as an absurd match-up, mainly because of the size difference. Although Mayweather did fight at 152 lbs when he faced Canelo Alvarez, he will still be going against a natural 160-pounder in Golovkin.
However, Junior has some other opinions regarding the match-up. For him, he believes he still holds a significant advantage.
