With only four days away, Nonito Donaire remains in deep preparation for his fight against Frenchman Anthony Settoul on July 18th in Macau, China.
“The Filipino Flash” spent weeks of his training camp in Cebu at the famed ALA Gym, a training facility he described as “special.”
As he finishes up camp, a number of boxing experts have weighed in on the fight and have made their respective predictions.
For veteran analyst Ronnie Nathanielsz, Donaire’s power on both hands should not be overlooked, but also believes hard work remains to be the key to success.
“He wants to be world champion,” Nathanielsz said in a report by Dyan Castillejo of ABS-CBN News. “You cannot to get that you have to work hard you cannot relax you have to give it your all.”
For fellow expert Atty. Ed Tolentino, it should be a dominant performance by “The Filipino Flash.”
“I see Nonito running over him like a tank going over a shanty. He will overwhelm him.”
Anthony Settoul holds a record of 20-3, with eight victories by knockout.
