Pagara brothers co-headline Pinoy Pride 32 in Dubai

On August 7th, Pinoy Pride will once again be featuring the best of the best in Philippine boxing.

Billed as “Duel in Dubai 2”, the event will be co-headlined by two of ALA Promotions’ top dogs. The Pagara brothers Albert and Jason have been on a tear as of late, and they will be taking their talents internationally this time around for the card that will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The elder brother Jason (35-2, with 22 victories by knockout) the former WBO junior welterweight world champion and current WBO international 140-pound champion, will be facing Mexico’s Ramiro Alcaraz in a ten-round non-title fight. “El Niño” last fought in February against another Mexican in César Chávez, where he won by second round TKO. 

Younger brother “Prince” Albert (22-0, with 15 victories by knockout) will be headlining the event, as he defends both his undefeated slate and his IBF Inter-Continental super-bantamweight title against Jesus “Chito” Rios of Mexico. He last fought in March at Pinoy Pride 30, where he defeated Rodolfo Hernandez via fifth round stoppage.
