Like how the majority of boxing fans reacted, “Sugar” Shane Mosley is not pleased by the making of the Floyd Mayweather vs. Andre Berto fight.
Showtime Sports made the announcement of the fight’s finalization on Tuesday (Wednesday, PHT), which is set to take place on September 12th in Las Vegas. It will be broadcasted through pay-per-view by the Showtime Network.
Mayweather’s September 12th bout against Berto (a relatively unknown name for casual boxing fans) would be his sixth and final fight of his lucrative contract with the cable television giant. This fact alone has caused the uproar of disappointment, including that from Mosley.
“Sugar Shane” aired out his sentiments through social media, like how most fans did.
Why pay $74.99 2watch May dance in HD when u can pay under $50 2watch me KO a s*#t talking lunatic. Plus I have a surprise announcement LIVE— Shane Mosley (@ShaneMosley_) August 5, 2015
The 43-year old Mosley recently came back from his second retirement to face fellow veteran and former world champion Ricardo Mayorga. The fight is scheduled to take place on August 29th, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
