Pinoy Pride 32: Pagara brothers aim for further glory
ALA Boxing standouts Albert and Jason Pagara co-headline Pinoy Pride's second event in Dubai.

ALA Boxing standouts Albert and Jason Pagara have spent their entire careers fighting within the country’s local scene.

On Friday, August 7th, the two brothers will be given the chance to showcase their talents to the international audience as they co-headline Pinoy Pride 32: Duel in Dubai 2, which is set to take place at the World Trade Centre.

It will be the first time for “Prince” Albert and “El Niño” to fight outside the Philippines. For the younger Albert, who will be defending his IBF Intercontinental featherweight title, going home with the win is the only option.

“Gusto namin na manalo sa first time na lalaban kami sa labas ng bansa,” the younger Pagara said in a previous interview with ABS-CBN Sports.

Jason, on the other hand, last fought in February, and is itching to get back in the ring.

“Handang-handa na talaga ako lumaban,” said Jason in a separate interview.

Both fighters will be going against Mexican opponents: Albert will be defending his title against Jesus “Chito” Rios while Jason will be facing Ramiro “Xixime” Alcaraz. And as promised by ALA Promotions President and CEO Michael Aldeguer, a victory for both will mean another fight in the international stage, this time, in the United States.
