Throughout his 11-year professional career, 29-year old stand-and-bang fighter Brandon Rios has faced the toughest of opponents.
Particularly in the last three years, “Bam Bam” began competing on an elite level, against former world champion Mike Alvarado and eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao. On November 7th in Las Vegas, Rios will be facing a fellow former Pacquiao opponent in Tim Bradley.
The bout will be for Bradley’s WBO welterweight title.
Rios has been known for his vocal personality, especially when it comes to his thoughts about his upcoming opponents. For Bradley, here’s what he had to simply say.
"Bradley is no Pacquiao,” Rios was quoted saying in a report by World Boxing News. “We all know that, but Bradley will be the second-best fighter I have ever faced.”
Rios and Pacquiao fought in November 2013, for the vacant WBO International welterweight title. It was Pacquiao’s first fight after being knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez a year prior.
