ALA fighters all set for Pinoy Pride 33 in US
Donnie "Ahas" Nietes, the Pagara Brothers and Mark Magsayo are all set for Pinoy Pride 33.

Filipino fighters are all set as Pinoy Pride makes its US debut this weekend at the Stubhub Center in California.

WBO Light Flyweight World Champion Donnie "Ahas" Nietes is set to defend his title anew against Mexico's Juan Alejo.

Nietes, the longest-reigning Filipino world champion, looks to impress and hopefully win by knockout to score more US bouts.

Also seeing action in Pinoy Pride 33: Philippines vs. the World are the impressive Pagara Brothers as they take on Nicaraguan foes.

The undefeated Prince Albert Pagara, coming off a sensational first round knockout of Jesus Rios in his last fight in Dubai, will face William Gonzalez for the vacant WBO International Super Bantamweight title.

His older brother, Jason Pagara, meanwhile will go head-to-head against Santos Benavides.

ALA Promotions' new star, Mark Magsayo will also make his US debut as he defends his IBF Youth Featherweight championship against fellow undefeated fighter Yardley Suarez of Mexico.

All ALA fighters had their final training sessions earlier and are all ready to go for the weigh-in before they get ready to rumble in the ring.

Catch Pinoy Pride 33: Philippines vs. the World on October 18, Sunday at 11 a.m. on ABS-CBN Sports+Action channel 23 and 11 p.m. on ABS-CBN channel 2.
