De La Hoya: 'We will be behind Rousey if she enters pro boxing'

UFC bantameight queen Ronda Rousey is now a notable figure in both boxing in mixed martial arts.
Her image as the new poster child of professional prizefighting was further solidified after her recent appearance on the cover of Ring Magazine, making her the first MMA fighter to grace the publication’s cover.

Whether it be through her skills inside the cage, or just through her persona, Ronda Rousey has earned the respect of the combat sports world. So much so that even former six-division world champion turned boxing promoter Oscar De La Hoya is looking to work with her.
In an interview with Fight Hub TV, “The Golden Boy” revealed his intent to step in as a promoter for Rousey, should she decide to venture into professional boxing next.

Rousey will be defending her 135-pound title for the eighth consecutive time against former professional boxer Holly Holm at UFC 193 on November 15th in Australia.
