Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire has knocked out two of his last three opponents. He wants to add Hungarian challenger Zsolt Bedak to that list.
Reigning WBO Super Bantamweight champion Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire will be looking to put to sleep number four ranked Hungarian challenger Zsolt Bedak when they meet inside the ring in just a couple of weeks.
Donaire will be putting his title on the line against Bedak in Cebu City on April 23.
"I'm always looking for a knockout, it's something that I'm working hard for." Donaire said.
According to the defending champion, he knows that Bedak likes to use his left hook, a weapon that Donaire has as well, among many others. Coach-slash-father Nonito Sr. also believes that, while Bedak may be swift and strong, the Hungarian might just run himself tired because of the heat in the Philippines.
Donaire upped his training and conditioning following his title bout against Cesar Juarez back in December, but believes that he'll need to adjust some of the aspects of his camp because they'll be fighting in an open air venue, the Cebu City Sports Complex. - with a report from Dyan Castillejo, ABS-CBN News
