Eight-division boxing champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley both made weight for their title bout, Saturday evening (Sunday morning, Manila time) at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pacquiao and Bradley battle for the vacant WBO International Welterweight strap.
Weighing in one last time for supposedly the final fight of his long and storied boxing career, Pacquiao tipped the scales at 145.5 pounds, while Bradley came in at a full pound heavier, 146.5 lbs. Both met the 147-pound weight limit for the welterweight contest.
This marks the third meeting between Pacquiao and Bradley, with the American taking the first one via a controversial decision, while the Pinoy boxer took the second meeting, this time via a clear-cut decision.
In the undercard, German "King" Arthur Abraham defends his WBO Super Middleweight title against Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez of Mexico. Both tipped the scales at 168 lbs.
Mexico's Oscar Valdez (125.5 lbs) meets Russia's Evegny Gradovic (126 lbs.) in a featherweight (126 lbs.) bout.
American Jose Ramirez (138 lbs.) meets fellow American Manny Perez (137.5 lbs) in a junior welterweight contest.
