Challenger Zsolt Bedak and champion Nonito Donaire Jr. both made weight for their WBO Super Bantamweight title bout on Saturday, April 23

All but one of this weekend’s highly anticipated The Time Has Come: Donaire vs. Bedak  boxing card made weight during Friday morning’s official weigh-ins at the Ayala Center in Cebu.

Reigning and defending WBO Super Bantamweight champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire tipped the scales at 121 and ¾ lbs while Hungarian challenger Zsolt “Mr. Left Hook” Bedak came in at 121.5 lbs.

In the co-main event for the WBC Continental Americas Super-Featherweight Championship, Australia’s Paul “Showtime” Fleming weighed in at 129 lbs, while his opponent Miguel Angel “Ranita” Gonzales came in at 130 lbs.

ALA Boxing rising star Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo and American Chris “the Hitman” Avalos both tipped the scales at 125 lbs for their WBO International Featherweight Championship bout.

Another ALA Boxing star, Jason “El Nino” Pagara and opponent Miguel “Mikol” Zamudio of Mexico both came in at 143 lbs for their Junior Welterweight contest.

The Time Has Come: Donaire vs. Bedak takes place this Saturday, April 23 at the Cebu City Sports Complex.
