Boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, running under the United Nationalist Alliance, collected a total of 14,718,248 votes in ninth place in the Magic 12 behind front runner Liberal Party bet Joel Villanueva (17,241,383) in the partial and unofficial poll results.

From inside the boxing ring to Batasan Pambansa, eight-division boxing champion Manny Pacquiao could be on his way to occupying an office in the Senate after landing inside the Magic 12 as of 7:30 am, Tuesday morning according to the unofficial and partial poll results.

Pacquiao, running under the United Nationalist Alliance, collected a total of  14,718,248 votes on ninth place behind frontrunner Liberal Party bet Joel Villanueva (17,241,383).

The 37-year-old boxer, who won the vacant WBO International welterweight titles in a unanimous decision victory over Timothy Bradley, served as Sarangani congressman for two terms and is the biggest sports personality to run in this national election.
