Around three days out from Pinoy Pride 37, reigning WBO Intercontinental Super Bantamweight Champion "Prince" Albert Pagara is looking pretty shredded.
I don't compare myself to him because there’s never going to be another Manny Pacquiao. No one is ever going to surpass or achieve what he has done in boxing for the Philippines. So I don’t compare myself to Manny from the boxing standpoint. He is my inspiration and what keeps me motivated on what we as a people can become in this sport. There isn’t anything to compare for. I’m not even close to Manny. He has accomplished so much. I’m Prince Albert and he is Manny Pacquiao.... The 22-year old Pagara has always looked in shape ahead of his bouts, and certainly it isn't any different now, ahead of arguably the biggest bout of his career against former world title challenger Cesar Juarez.
Ever the character, Pagara shared with ABS-CBN News' Dyan Castillejo his secrets to getting as ripped as he is, while we're not really sure what Pagara said, it sounded like he had himself a steady intake of kamote, eggs, and fish. Pampano to be exact.
“Prince” Albert Pagara puts his WBO Intercontinental Super Bantamweight Championship on the line against Mexico’s Cesar Juarez at Pinoy Pride 37: Fists of the Future on Saturday, July 9th at the San Mateo Events Center in San Mateo, California.
