It was quite the scary moment when "Prince" Albert Pagara took quite a while to get back up following his knockout loss to Cesar Juarez in the main event of Saturday evening's Pinoy Pride 37 in San Mateo, California.

The visibly fatigued Pagara went down for the count, early in the eighth round, and spent some time slumped over on the canvas.

The 22-year old Leyteño needed to be stetchered out and was taken to a nearby medical facility.

An ALA Boxing Promotions official said that Pagara was indeed okay, and long time coach Edito Villamor confirmed Pagara's condition in an Instagram post, so did ABS-CBN's Dyan Castillejo.

Pagara will have some time to reflect on his first career loss, and this could very well motivate the young fighter to come back even stronger.
