"Ginawa ko naman lahat, pero nauhanan lang tayo. Sorry, sorry talaga." - Albert Pagara
"Prince" Albert Pagara apologized to his kababayans following his eighth-round stoppage loss to Mexico's Cesar Juarez, Saturday evening.
Pagara, who was rushed to the Stanford Medical following the brutal knockout loss, addressed his fellow Filipinos via a quick interview on Dyan Castillejo's Instagram account.
"Sorry talaga kasi hindi ako nanalo." an apologetic Pagara said, moments after being discharged.
Pagara faced arguably his toughest challenge in Juarez at Pinoy Pride 37 in San Mateo, California, Saturday evening. For the majority of the eight rounds, it was Juarez who was pushing the action and landing the cleaner, harder shots on Pagara.
"Ginawa ko naman lahat, pero nauhanan lang tayo. Sorry, sorry talaga." Pagara said.
The 22-year old ALA Boxing standout said that he'd make up for the loss in the future and that he'd be more careful next time around.
"Sa susunod, pagbubutihan natin. Mag-ingat tayo sa laban."
