ALA Boxing IDOL 2: Santisima stops Bajawa in three rounds

ALA Boxing up-and-comer Jeo" Santino" Santisima put on another impressive showing, as he needed only three rounds to stop Indonesia's Junior Bajawa at ALA Promotions' IDOL 2 event, Saturday night at the Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex in Mandaue City, Cebu.
Santisima came out throwing hard early, but the Indonesian visitor was able to cover up and keep himself from absorbing any significan damage. "Santino struck gold in the third round however, landing an overhand that found the mark and dropped Bajawa for the ten-count midway through the third round.

Santisima improves to 11-2 in his young professional career, scoring his ninth straight win and tenth career knockout victory.
In the co-main event, Melvin "Gringo" Jerusalem remained unbeaten in his career, defeating reigning WBC International Light Flyweight champion Jonathan "Hard Worker" Refugio via unanimous decision in a ten-round non-title bout.
Jerusalem used his speed to out-maneuver Refugio en route to a ten-round domination, highlighted by a knockdown in the fourth round.
Jerusalem improves to 10-0 in his career.
