Pacquiao, Donaire make weight for title bouts

Arguably the two best Pinoy fighters today in eight-division world champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and four-division world champion Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire will be fighting on the same card for the first time ever on Saturday night (Sunday morning, Manila time).
On Friday night (Saturday morning, Manila time), the two Filipino boxing legends made weight ahead of their respective title bouts.
Headliner Pacquiao came in at 144.8 lbs as he challenges reigning WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas, who tipped the scales at 146.6 lbs.
Defending WBO super bantamweight king Donaire on the other hand, weighed in at 121.8 lbs, while unbeaten challenger Jessie Magdaleno made weight at 121.25 lbs.
The Pacquiao-Vargas and Donaire-Magdaleno bouts will be joined by two more title bouts: Oscar Valdez of Mexico vs. Hiroshige Osawa of Japan for the vacant WBO featherweight title, and China's Zou Shiming versus Thailand's Prasitsak Phaprom for the vacant WBO flyweight title.
