Pinoy Pride 39 marked the return of ALA Boxing star “Prince” Albert Pagara after suffering his first career loss to Cesar Juarez back in July.
While Pagara was triumphant in his return, outpointing Ghana’s Raymond Commey after ten rounds, many thought that it was a lackluster fight, especially for someone who’s as exciting inside the ring as Pagara.
The fans at the Cebu Coliseum weren’t shy about voicing out how they felt about Pagara’s performance, as they jeered the Maasin City native after the decision was read.
Pagara added that most of the people who were jeering didn’t really understand what goes on inside a boxing ring.
The important thing for Albert is that he got the W, and is back to his winning ways. The blonde-haired bomber says getting better is all that he’s focusing on now.
