Pinoy boxer Jerusalem, Thai champion make weight for title bout

Filipino challenger Melvin "El Gringo" Jerusalem and reigning WBC World Minimumweight champion Wanheng Menayothin of Thailand have both made weight for their title clash on Wednesday, January 25th.
ALA Boxing head coach Edito Villamor, who traveled with Jerusalem to Thailand for the fight, posted a video on his Instagram account, reporting results from the weigh-ins, which were held at the Ruanpae Hotel.
The 22-year old challenger Jerusalem (11-0, 7 KO) came in at 105-pounds, while the champion, Menayothin (44-0, 17 KO) also tipped the scales at 105-pounds.
Jerusalem, one of ALA Boxing's rising young stars, will be fighting for a championship for the first time in his young career, while Menayothin is looking to defend his title for the ninth time.
The title bout is set to take place at the Phitsanuloke Province in Thailand.
