TOKYO, JAPAN - The stage is set for this weekend's war as Pinoy boxer Milan "El Metodico" Melindo and Akira Yaegashi make weight for their IBF light flyweight world championship unification matchup on Sunday, May 21st at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan. 

Interim champion Melindo and regular champion Yaegashi stepped onto the scales Saturday, and both weighed in at 48.8 kilos or 107.6 pounds, well within the light flyweight limit.

This will be Yaegashi's third title defense, while Melindo will be gunning for his first regular world championship in three tries.
