Filipino boxing's greatest world champion meets the newest.
Before heading back home to Cebu, newly-crowned IBF Light Flyweight world champion Milan "El Metodico" Melindo had one more stop left in Manila, as he took time out watch eight-division world champion and reigning WBO Welterweight world champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao put in some work at the gym.
The new champ was also reportedly given an undisclosed "bonus" by Pacquiao for his recent championship win.
Melindo is coming off a stunning first-round knockout win over Japan's Akira Yaegashi to become the new IBF 108-pound champion, while Pacquiao is training for his upcoming WBO title defense against Jeff Horn in Australia.
Pacquiao has been holding his training camp here in Manila, with long-time head coach Freddie Roach also in town.
Pacquiao and Horn meet in July 2nd at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
Melindo on the other hand, will be taking a bit of time off to enjoy his world championship before he gets back to work.
The 29-year old Cagayan de Oro native has stated that he wants to one day become "king of the light flyweights" in boxing.
