Pacquiao, along with wife Jinkee, head coach Freddie Roach, some family, friends, and supporters boarded a chartered Air Asia flight from his hometown of General Santos City and flew straight to Brisbane, arriving at around 9:00 PM Australia time.
According to ABS-CBN's Dyan Castillejo, Pacquiao was in good spirits following his six-hour flight. The 38-year old Pinoy boxing legend addressed the local media upon arrival, saying that he was 'optimistic' about his fight against hometown boy Jeff "The Hornet" Horn.
