In a matter of days, Brisbane's own Jeff Horn has an opportunity of a lifetime when he challenges reigning WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao for the title at the Suncorp Stadium.

In Pacquiao, Horn won't just be facing the current welterweight champion, but he's also facing an eight-division world champion and arguably onf the best boxers in history.

"Manny is a next-level fighter, he throws punches in bunches that are extremely fast, something that I probably haven't before," Horn said.

While the hometown boy Horn may have the odds stacked against him come Sunday night, the former school teacher-turned Olympian-turned world title challenger isn't lacking an ounce of confidence as he gets set to step in against a former pound-for-pound king.

The 29-year old says that he's more than ready for the biggest challenge of his boxing career so far.

"I'm willing to step into that whirlwind and fight with him. I know he wants to do that, but I feel I've got what it takes to battle him."

While Pacquiao may have the significant edge in experience, Horn will have the advantage in youth, given that he's nearly a decade younger than the 38-year old Pinoy.

"My size and my youth, I'm way younger than [Manny Pacquiao], and in the later rounds, that might show."

Aside from Horn's size and youth advantage, the Aussie's team will be coming in with a ten-point plan to victory known as Broken Rhythm Aggression. They believe that they can put Manny down, much like what Juan Manuel Marquez did back in 2012.

"He is so adaptable," Horn's coach Glenn Rashton said. "Manny won't know what's coming."

"We know how to neutralize his speed and power. There are ways. I've watched video after video after video." Rashton added.

Horn's last three fights have ended via stoppage, and he hopes to make it four straight against Pacquiao.

Against one of the best however, that's going to be easier said than done.
