Days before their upcoming welterweight clash in Brisbane, it appears that reigning WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao has somehow found a way to get under challenger Jeff Horn's skin.
True, it has never been Pacquiao's style to agitate his opponents prior to a fight, and it still isn't. Pacquiao never taunted or talked trash to Horn or his camp.
So what is it that has the Brisbane native annoyed?
It was the fact that during the post-fight presser, the Filipino boxing legend was caught spending most of his time looking at his mobile phone.
“I can’t imagine him doing that at a (Floyd) Mayweather press conference,” Horn said via an interview with Fox Sports Australia.
“It definitely shows a bit of ‘he doesn’t care’ attitude to the fight. Maybe we’ll see he hasn’t put in all the hard work they say he has.” Horn added.
Dean Lonergan, Horn's promoter, went on to call Pacquiao a "world champion texter",
“I’ve attended four press conferences with Manny, he never gets off his bloody phone,” Lonergan said.
“I hope you take the phone into the ring and she’ll be game over.”
Lonergan later clarified that he was 'just having some fun' with Pacquiao.

To his defense, Pacquiao clarified that he wasn't texting, rather he was composing a 'Thank You' speech.
Manny Pacquiao and Jeff Horn will battle for the WBO welterweight world championship on Sunday, July 2nd at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.
