While Manny Pacquiao and Jeff Horn were swinging for the fences in Brisbane, Australia, ESPN commentator and former boxing world champion Timothy Bradley somehow wound up in Argentina as he was calling the action, Sunday afternoon.
Wait, what? Wasn't Bradley supposed to be in Brisbane as well?
Anyway. Fun fight. Hilarious production/commentary. Dumpster fire post-fight. Can't ask for more. Viva la Argentina pic.twitter.com/P9d5Xzbf1g— caposa (@Grabaka_Hitman) July 2, 2017
Talking about the possibility of Australia's own Horn getting a hometown nod since the fight was being held Down Under, Bradley slipped up, by saying "we are in Argentina."
He was immediately corrected by co-anchor Teddy Atlas, but the damage was done, and Twitter went in on the former Pacquiao opponent.

THERE'S BEEN A ROBBERY IN ARGENTINA!!! I MEAN AUSTRALIA!!!— Bill Simmons (@BillSimmons) July 2, 2017
All these people focused on the controversial decision has taken attention away from the real problem. TIM BRADLEY IS STRANDED IN ARGENTINA!— El Cucuy (@SSJWHB) July 2, 2017
We are all in Argentina in our own way. #PacquiaoHorn— Jonathan Snowden (@JESnowden) July 2, 2017
While of course it was just a simple mistake on Bradley's part, in this age of social media, you cannot make mistakes. Especially if you're doing commentary on live, free American TV, with millions and millions of people tuned in.
Horn ended up outpointing Pacquiao after twelve rounds to become the new WBO welterweight champion. This is a milestone that he'll be sharing with his fellow Argentinians...I mean Australians, my bad.
