Just a day after losing the WBO welterweight belt to Australian Jeff Horn, eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, along with wife Jinkee and his team, flew back to his hometown of General Santos City, Monday afternoon.
While he may have wanted to come back home with the world title belt still in tow, life had other plans for the future boxing hall of famer, as he dropped a unanimous decision loss to Horn, Sunday afternoon at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.
Still, the Pinoy boxing legend was welcomed with arrival honors upon touching back down on Philippine soil.

Before leaving the airport, Pacquiao showed appreciation for the warm welcome he received at home.
"Thank you sa mainit na pagsalubong ng aming mga kababayan, I'm so happy. Thank you."

At this point, it's unclear yet what the future holds for the 38-year old boxer-turned Philippine Senator. He's stated publicly that he wants a rematch against Horn, but his wife Jinkee would rather that he hang his gloves up for good this time.
