Mark "Magnifico" Magsayo is certainly feeling the love.
The undefeated ALA Promotions rising star made short work of Nicaraguan challenger Daniel "El General" Diaz in the main event of Pinoy Pride 41 in Cebu last Saturday, and his fellow Boholanos made sure to tune in to the fight telecast the following day.
Magsayo, who hails from Tagbilaran, improved his record to 17-0 after demolishing Diaz to retain his WBO International Featherweight championship and further cement his status as one of Pinoy boxing's next big stars.
Later that week, Magsayo went back home to Tagbilaran and gave a courtesy call to Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell "Baba" Yap.

At just 22 years of age, Magsayo is moving up the ranks in boxing and has consistently impressed his peers with every fight. His devastating win at Pinoy Pride 41 - his main event debut - is just another step towards his ultimate goal: championship glory.
